Sr. Associate, Data Analysis & Visualization (Data Analyst)

This role is part of Alcon's Analytics & Intelligence function, a team that advances data science, articficial intelligence, and machine learning to transform the eye care industry.The Sr. Associate, Data Analysis & Visualization (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for using data science techniques to analyze data, create visualizations, and support data-driven solutions. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure data insights are accurate and relevant.
Specifics Include:
• Perform specialized data analysis and visualization tasks
• Conduct independent research to optimize outcomes
• Utilize data science techniques such as statistical analysis and data mining to extract insights and create meaningful visualizations to communicate findings
• Achieve goals through mainly self-directed work with potential oversight from management
• Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks
• Apply advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills
• Communicate effectively and work independentlyAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4-7 years of total experience.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands on experience of Advanced SQL
• Good understanding of ETL and Data Flows
• Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concept knowledge
• Hands on experience in Query Performance Optimization
• Requirements Gathering and Functional Specifications

Desired Skills:

• Hands on experience of visualization tool - Tableau
• Experience working with Finance data sets
• Exposure to healthcare and manufacturing industry

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
