Job Description:
ROLE PURPOSE
The Analytics, Sr. Associate is responsible for the implementation of standardized reporting dashboards, across the Dentsu Media client portfolio, including support on client’s analytics setup tools. A Data Analyst is expected to work diligently to meet our client’s data needs and assist across data on-boarding and integration, reporting, measurement, advanced analytics, insight development, forecasting and partner identification.
You will look at complex sets of information to reach conclusions and may also lead the process of collecting and reporting on new data. You will assist in efforts to transform data and reporting into insights, recommendations, and results. You will use data to help solve business problems, like how to optimize profits, maximize media ROI.
This position is for the Offshore Team of Dentsu Argentina, and works for teams located in Dentsu's agencies in other countries. Has a local support team that leads the integration and relationship with the other members of the Offshore Team in Argentina.
TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Understand individual client needs so you can help them be successful in their roles; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well.
Work to develop a solid understanding of the client’s business, with emphasis on your area of responsibility.
Determine information needs and sources of data and collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
To access and compile large volumes of custom and syndicated data from disparate sources into concise and precise information.
Develop new data sources and data management tools to ensure most effective methods are used.
Verify accuracy, develop databases, systems, and programs that facilitate deeper analyses.
Structure large data sets to find usable information ensuring data quality and data documentation.
Work on data issues with executives and other analysts and business leaders, internal and external clients, to process information, to identify opportunities for improvement and solve problems.
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
Create presentations and reports with visuals (charts, graphs) based on recommendations and findings and clearly and effectively communicate findings to clients.
Meet commitments and complete tasks as agreed and within agreed timeframes.
Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture.
As part of the Offshore Team of Dentsu Argentina, you must actively participate in the weekly virtual networking meetings with other members of the Argentina offshore team.
You must also participate in the Offshore Team's peer-to-peer engagement activities held periodically in our Buenos Aires offices, except for those who are not located in that city.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 - 2 years of experience in the field of digital analytics in an advertising agency or management consultancy.
A bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, etc.) or with relevant coursework.
Knowledge of reporting using data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau or Power BI for internal and external reporting.
Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
Achieve expert-level proficiency of site tagging using GTM and deep expertise in Analytics.
Having a firm grasp of how data pipelines and their underlying architectures are connected, crucial in being able to understand taxonomy and formulating transformation scripts.
Ability to create calculated metrics using data collected from media channels.
Basic understanding of the Digital Media landscape.
Some SQL programming (or other statistical programming language) experience is preferred.
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques (preferably through Adverity).
Experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Love for solving complex problems by leveraging data and statistical models.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
