Vero is looking for a Sr. Art Director who can lead creative thinking and visual storytelling across a range of digital, PR, and integrated campaigns. Based in Manila and collaborating closely with our regional teams across ASEAN, this role will shape the look and feel of campaigns for some of the world’s most exciting brands — from concept to execution.

As a Senior Art Director, you’ll co-create ideas with creative, strategy, and account teams to build meaningful, platform-native work that resonates with local culture, trends, and communities. You’ll also guide junior creatives, pitch in on regional projects, and contribute to an environment that values creativity, collaboration, and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Creative Leads, Designers and Writers to conceptualize and develop campaign ideas across digital, social, PR, and traditional media
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Planners to translate strategic insights into compelling visual executions
  • Lead the design and direction of assets across various touchpoints — from social posts and digital banners to event branding and content activations
  • Push creative boundaries while ensuring client objectives and KPIs are met
  • Mentor designers and junior art directors, nurturing their craft and creative thinking
  • Stay on top of design trends, visual culture, and emerging platforms to keep the work fresh and relevant
  • Occasionally collaborate on regional creative assignments across Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand creative assets for client and internal projects

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a creative agency as a Sr. Art Director or Sr. Graphic Designer
  • Proven portfolio showcasing 360 campaigns with strong digital, social, and PR activations
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro).
  • Excellent conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills
  • Strong understanding of design principles, motion design (2D animation), typography, branding, and layout
  • Collaborative mindset and confidence to work alongside Creative, Strategy, and Account teams
  • Able to lead creative discussions, present ideas with clarity, and receive feedback constructively
  • Believes that empathy fuels great creativity and that clear, human conversations are at the heart of all communication
  • Outstanding communication skills in English and Filipino (written and spoken)
  • Curious, creative, proactive, and open to experimentation
  • Comfortable working in a young, multicultural environment
  • Organized and visionary — able to balance big-picture thinking with pixel-perfect execution
  • While not required, experience in video editing or motion graphics will set you apart — especially for dynamic content across social and digital platforms.
