Salary Range: $100,000 - 140,000 OTE
Role Summary:
Kargo, known as the most creative company in ad tech, is looking for a Senior Art Director with a passion for design, the arts, and all things creative to oversee a team of designers. You'll collaborate with VP, Creative Services and internal stakeholders to develop our brand voice & visuals, attend client and industry initiatives, help produce and package our signature events via social and sizzles reels, and a myriad of dynamic projects that solidify our "high-end, high-tech, high-gloss" reputation. What You'll Do:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations for enthusiastic and growing team of 9, including an AD, PM and designers at various levels
  • Foster an environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and fresh, innovative designs ideas that captivate the target audience, including clients from Amazon to Zenni, and the ad industry at large
  • Create unique identity and collateral for bespoke events at Cannes, CES, New Fronts, etc
  • Participate in brainstorms for larger initiatives
  • Identify daily priorities and ensure the team is meeting project milestones and deadlines
  • Mentor younger designers to elevate the quality of the work

  • Positive, proactive and comfortable managing multiple people and projects simultaneously in an exciting collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail


Who You Are:

  • 8+ years experience in a managerial design role at a media company, agency, tech, or similarly creative environment
  • Fantastic portfolio that showcases a sophisticated aesthetic; innovative use of typography, photography, illustration and graphics- and variety of projects that show versatility in design, format and thinking!
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to mentor and motivate team to uplevel designs
  • Positive, proactive and comfortable managing multiple people, projects, and processes simultaneously in an exciting collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of design, culture and tech trends
  • Master of many mediums: Adobe CS, animation, web and the next big thing
