We are seeking a versatile Technical Project Manager / Software Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of short-term client engagements (2–6 weeks) while actively contributing to the design, development, and deployment of custom software solutions that extend the LenelS2 OnGuard platform.
This hybrid role blends project leadership, client engagement, and hands-on software engineering, serving as a primary point of contact for customers while ensuring high-quality technical delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Project & Client Management

Lead and deliver short-term (2–6 week) customer engagements with strong focus on quality and satisfaction.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, expectations, and issue resolution.

Coordinate all phases of delivery: scoping, planning, execution, and closure.

Facilitate technical discussions with customers, VARs, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.

Software Development & Delivery

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions extending the OnGuard platform.

Build integrations with third-party systems and develop custom applications.

Perform remote and occasional on-site deployments for secure environments.

Maintain and enhance existing solutions, providing sustaining engineering support.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Solution Planning & Estimation

Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to define requirements and scope.

Create cost estimates for custom solutions including labor, materials, and external dependencies.

Analyze and manage scope changes, evaluating technical and cost impacts.
Operations & Resource Management

Administer and optimize workflows within the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.

Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively to maximize utilization.

Drive cross-functional coordination and operational efficiency.

Track and report performance metrics for project and service delivery.
Technical & Strategic Contributions

Provide technical advisory support to customers and internal teams.

Contribute to the design of scalable, innovative security solutions.

Work on database development, reporting, and integrations (e.g., SQL, reporting tools).

Support continuous improvement of tools, processes, and delivery standards.
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience in software development and/or customer-facing technical roles.

Strong experience with C# development and .NET technologies.

Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and database design.

Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Experience in cost estimation, scheduling, and requirements gathering.

Proficiency with CRM/PSA tools and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, WPF, WinForms.

Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, JReport).

Experience in custom software delivery or professional services environments.

Ability to interpret and manage evolving software requirements.

Familiarity with enterprise security systems or integrations.
