Turn sourcing strategy into business decisions

As Senior Analyst — Strategic Sourcing, you’ll lead sourcing initiatives across Frontier’s indirect spend categories, with significant exposure to Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Commercial services.

You’ll manage smaller sourcing projects with limited oversight and own key workstreams within larger initiatives, including RFP execution, vendor analysis, financial modeling, business-case development and contract support.

Along the way, you’ll build expertise in assigned sourcing categories, become a trusted resource for business partners and help support junior Analysts while working with stakeholders across Frontier.

Why this role matters
Strategic sourcing influences more than what Frontier buys. Strong sourcing decisions help balance cost, risk and operational needs while strengthening supplier relationships and supporting teams across the airline.

In this role, your analysis and recommendations will help Frontier make informed sourcing and contracting decisions across key areas of the business.

Leadership scope
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The Senior Analyst may mentor and support junior Analysts and share sourcing best practices across the team.

How you’ll work
This role operates with considerable latitude, managing assigned projects and workstreams with limited oversight. Your manager will review key results and recommendations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead smaller sourcing projects from planning through execution.
  • Own workstreams within larger cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
  • Structure and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support vendor selection and contracting decisions.
  • Validate and sense-check analyses to ensure accuracy and quality.

Manage RFPs and vendor activity

  • Support end-to-end RFx processes, including bid documentation, project-team coordination, response evaluation and leadership recommendations.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders during contract discussions, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Support vendor-performance evaluations and identify opportunities for improvement.

Build financial analyses and business cases

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop business cases.
  • Build financial and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate sourcing scenarios.
  • Develop recommendations that balance cost efficiency, risk mitigation and operational needs.

Turn analysis into clear recommendations

  • Prepare polished presentations and reports for leadership.
  • Contribute to senior management and Board-level presentations.
  • Communicate findings clearly and tailor information to the appropriate audience.

Collaborate and support the team

  • Work across departments to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Share sourcing best practices and provide guidance to junior Analysts.
  • Build subject-matter expertise and serve as a resource within assigned categories.

Improve sourcing practices

  • Lead small-scale process improvements.
  • Evaluate tools and technologies that may improve sourcing outcomes.
  • Help strengthen and standardize sourcing best practices across the department.

What you’ll bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement or a related field.
  • Experience with contracting, vendor negotiations and RFP processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to independently structure and execute financial analyses and business cases.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and develop well-reasoned recommendations that balance analysis with practical business needs.
