Job Description

• To perform maintenance of instruments and minimize the downtime of instruments. Maintain instrument history card, breakdown record etc.
• Reponsible for qualification and calibration of instrument/equipment.
• To procure and maintain the stock of spare part management etc.
• To co-ordination with service engineers for qualification, maintenance and preventive maintenance, external calibrations of instruments and equipment’s within scheduled time
• To initiate AMC / CMC of instruments and plan the preventive maintenance of instruments / equipment’s as per schedule
• To be updated (self) with latest cGMP / GLP / Regulatory requirements and to train the same to the departmental people.
• Preparation of documents (SOP, Protocol, Format, schedule etc.) as on when required.
• Review the audit trail for instruments, equipment’s and software’s.
• Training to the Quality Control Department personnel.
• Verification / review of the document provided by vendor during qualification of instruments / equipment’s, service report, Calibration data, supporting data, audit trails report, maintenance record etc. as and when require.
• Time synchronization of instrument / equipment as and when require.
• Communication with vendor, external calibration agency, respective stake holders (e.g. IT, QC, QA, Maintenance and project team etc.) for smooth functioning of instrument / equipment and laboratory maintenance.
