We are seeking a Paralegal with experience in all phases of litigation including experience with large document production, discovery, interviewing of witnesses and experts, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records to become a member of this winning practice group and join one of the fastest moving areas of the law. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and two plus years of litigation experience or no degree/certificate and six plus years of experience. Experience in all phases of trial and trial preparation including experience with large document production, discovery, interviewing of witnesses and experts, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records required. Large-scale multi-party litigation preferred. Travel required.Skills Required
- Paralegal experience assisting attorneys in discovery, case preparation and trial
- Experience with litigation support, case management software and databases (document review/e-discovery)
- Experience supervising, training, assigning work and quality control for reviewers and temporary staff
- Ability to travel to clients, vendors and trial locations on short notice and assist at trial
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills and professional client interaction
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate/degree
- Four to six years relevant experience (or equivalent combination) and minimum three consecutive years at Shook
- Understanding of scientific, legal, regulatory, technical, or industry issues relevant to cases
