Job Description:
Job responsibilities:
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and problems in Java applications (back-end and front-end, if applicable).
Monitor application performance and availability.
Manage support tickets through tools such as ServiceNow, as well as proprietary management tools.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document solutions.
Escalate complex issues to development teams (Level 3) with the necessary information.
Support functional or technical testing during deployments or changes.
Participate in continuous improvement, automation, or process documentation activities.
Knowledge of generating metrics based on reports and KPIs.
Work as a team to ensure the efficient operation of Device Management.
Use tools and methodologies for continuous improvement.
Technical skills:
Intermediate level knowledge of languages:
.Net (C#, C++, Python)
Java
PHP
MS SharePoint
Power BI
Desirable:
Knowledge of: APIs, Web Services (SOAP, REST)
Middleware: Experience with servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, etc.
Databases: Knowledge of SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). Ability to execute queries and analyze results.
Design patterns (MVC)
Operating systems: Intermediate level in Windows, Linux/Unix (navigation, logs, basic commands).
Version control: Basic use of Git, review of repositories and branches.
Ticketing tools: JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
