Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Agile Technical Program Manager, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management to lead, manage, and deliver technology-focused projects and programs targeted explicitly at enabling delivery of content through our pipeline and/or supporting our service architecture and tools.
In this role, you will manage complex technical projects and programs related to cloud account management, developer tooling, and much more, from the planning phase through delivery and support. The right person for this role is not only passionate about "actions over words" but wants to be a part of shaping how our internal engineering teams deliver scalable, and consistent deliverables. The right candidate should be focused on proactively removing impediments from the project, communicating clearly, and reliably providing relevant reporting at both the team and executive level. In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Manage delivery of large, high-impact programs aimed at improving operational efficiencies for our Engineering Teams.
  • Coordinate cross-organization stakeholders to align our Cloud account management strategy, operationalize established best practices, and provide support and training to maintain account hygiene.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise narratives for executives and stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and alignment with strategic goals
  • Align stakeholders from diverse areas of the organization, ensuring unified project goals and successful outcomes
  • Ensure all technical projects are understood, documented, and progressing with complete and regular visibility of all timelines, status, progress, dependencies, risks, opportunities, etc.
  • Ensure all work is captured, vetted, planned, and tracked within JIRA, according to established practices
  • Create, document, operationalize, and maintain technical program management processes
  • Act like an owner. Take initiative over found opportunities within our org and lead solution architecture through completion
  • Be an advocate, subject matter expert, and coach for agile methodologies and practices and their specific application to our technology and business domain
  • Identify technical dependencies and challenges. Evaluate and collaborate with Engineering Leadership to implement technical solutions.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge. Able to contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives
  • Proven ability to influence seniors and peers without direct authority; experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Talented communicator who skillfully facilitates team collaboration and execution from planning to project launch, with both business and technical teams
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results
  • Proactive change maker, identifying opportunities for improvement in team and project processes, aligning stakeholders to make positive changes, and successfully coaching teams to adopt them
  • Successful stakeholder management in highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary development teams

Desired Characteristics:

  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools, with the ability to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their billing and account management systems.
  • 5+ years program, product, related management experience in development management, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps as well as launches
  • Experienced in defining and measuring success for process improvements and project or feature launches
