We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Agile Release Manager to lead and manage our MarTech development and release processes, optimizing workflows and enhancing productivity. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing detailed reporting to highlight the delivery success and capacity of our MarTech development team. You will drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and support a culture of accountability across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Release & Delivery Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee MarTech release activities, ensuring that all teams and stakeholders are aligned and releases are delivered on time with minimal disruption. This role includes owning end-to-end release readiness, including dependency management, risk identification, and go/no-go decision support
  • Agile Process Execution: Oversee the implementation and adherence to agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) across multiple RevOps teams. Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure clarity of scope, priorities, outcomes, and roadmap execution
  • Business Analysis & Requirement Enablement: Act as a strategic partner, assisting with the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for MarTech initiatives when needed
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Communication Leadership: Serve as a primary liaison between cross-functional stakeholders and delivery teams, balancing strategic goals with executional (capacity) realities. Proactively manage expectations and drive clear, consistent communication on scope, timelines, risks, and release impacts
  • Workload, Capacity & Dependency Management: Monitor, analyze, and manage team workloads, balancing priorities and ensuring effective allocation of resources across multiple workstreams. Optimize delivery flow to ensure high-priority initiatives are completed predictably, with cross-team dependencies and sequencing challenges identified and resolved proactively
  • Performance Tracking, SLAs & Reporting: Deliver reporting that ties delivery outcomes directly to business commitments. Define, implement and monitor KPIs related to deliver performance, release quality, throughput, and SLA adherence
  • Process Optimization: As a part of the MarTech team, identify and address process inefficiencies across intake, planning, delivery, and release workflows. This individual should be the champion of best practices in agile delivery!
  • Training & Team Enablement: Provide guidance and coaching to teams on agile practices where appropriate. Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and shared ownership across all delivery teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Leader (CAL), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in release management, agile project management, or MarTech operations, preferably within a digital marketing or technology-driven environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing releases for MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Branch.io, or similar marketing technologies
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into executable delivery plans, including user stories and/or functional specifications
  • Strong experience with agile project management tools like Azure DevOps, or similar, and workflow tools such as Workfront
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), SLA management, uptime, change management, and service quality
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, and Lean, with the ability to adapt methodologies as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities to identify and resolve issues that impact team performance and project success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills, with proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative work environment cross functionally
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as banking or finance, a plus
  • Familiarity with MarTech platforms, especially Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Personalization, and an understanding of digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, and personalized customer journeys
  • Familiarity with mobile app development process and lifecycle
