Job Description
As an AEM Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform and related environments. Your responsibilities will span deployment, monitoring, security, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Here are the key aspects of this role:
- Production Deployment Support:
- Facilitate code deployment and content deployment processes for the AEM platform.
- Ensure smooth synchronization of content across environments.
- Manage content synchronization activities to maintain consistency across AEM instances.
- Create and manage Adobe-related tickets, including incident reports and service requests.
- Address tickets related to AEM promptly.
- Install SSL certificates for secure communication over HTTPS.
- Apply your experience in troubleshooting AEM-related issues.
- Maintain and update components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.
- AEM System Administration:
- Hands-on experience with AEM 6.X or higher system administration.
- Configure AEM in Author, Publish, and Dispatcher modes.
- Monitor Sling status and create audit reports.
- Monitoring AEM Infrastructure:
- Monitor the health and performance of AEM environments.
- Utilize tools like NewRelic , Dynatrace for real-time monitoring and proactive issue detection.
- Regularly analyze Looking Glass reports to identify performance bottlenecks, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with AEM Development Team:
- Work closely with the AEM development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in Agile processes, track user stories, and manage sprint activities.
- Infrastructure Scaling:
- Perform infrastructure scale-up and downsize activities as needed.
- Optimize resource allocation based on demand.
- AEM DAM and Workflows:
- Strong experience with AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM) and workflows.
- Implement web content authoring, production, configuration, and publishing.
- Familiarity with various AEM admin consoles for efficient management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe Notices component of AEM.
- Proficiency in AEM platform administration, architecture, and automation.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CICD concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in AEM administration and production support.
