Sr IT PLM Architect – Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Architect with a strong background in Siemens Teamcenter PLM System. Responsibilities include supporting, designing, and refining robust solution. The position entails actively supporting Teamcenter Enhancement activities at Honeywell Aerospace by aligning technical approaches with business objectives.
ResponsibilitiesYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Teamcenter PLM Solution Architecture covering Technical and Infra requirements
- Map PLM requirements to Teamcenter framework. Define Functional groups on requirements and drive To-Be system design in alignment with all the stakeholders.
- Good experience in Teamcenter and SAP integration through T4S development and configurations
- Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third party applications such as NX, Creo and ECAD Tools.
- Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter Development Best Practices.
Strong problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management with little supervision
- Ability to effectively coordinate and work with global team
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or in lieu of a degree, experience within a similar role in this field.
- Possess 6+ years of experience and have delivered a customized Teamcenter Instance upgrade (preferably TC 2412 or later versions)
- Proven track record in implementing and managing large-scale Teamcenter PLM projects.
- Knowledge in Teamcenter UA Product such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management and more.
- Experience in installing, configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server & CAD integration
- Experience in Active workspace configuration and Customization and in Teamcenter architecture and Data Model configuration.
- Understand Multi site architecture and Export Control Requirements in A&D Industries. Experience in PLM systems with a strong focus on Siemens Teamcenter Administrator knowledge.
Good knowledge of web technologies e.g., XSLT, HTML, Java script, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SOA programming, Web methods & webservice architecture.
Skills Required
