As a Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading advanced electrical engineering projects, developing innovative electrical systems, and providing expert technical guidance to ensure the successful execution of complex engineering solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Mfg Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Chihuahua location on an Onsite work schedule.

Responsibilities- Lead advanced electrical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams to enhance their capabilities and project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader product designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct functional failure analysis and product design evaluations to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Develop escalation reports and provide product redesign recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on advanced electrical systems design and development.
- Experience working with electronic circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively communicate with global stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and system integration.
- Solid understanding of electronic components and their operation, including integrated circuits (ICs), transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other discrete components.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools such as Valor or similar platforms, with experience in PCB design and power electronics.
- Knowledge of IPC standards related to the manufacturing and design of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Experience with compliance standards and testing protocols relevant to electrical engineering projects.
