We have an opportunity for Senior Advanced Electronic Design Engineer – Urban Air Mobility to join our team developing safety critical control units for Electro-Mechanical Flight Control Actuation systems for electric aircrafts. You will be given a chance to work on exciting projects revolutionizing the Aerospace industry and a great opportunity to participate in technology edge development projects enabling your career growth.
Together with other team members you will be part of the complete development cycle of Actuation Control Unit products, so what you design you will bring to life and in the end also see in action. You will be working in top R&D laboratories with high-tech equipment allowing you to do functional checkouts on your prototype boards, do troubleshooting and investigation, change components if needed and do various integration testing.
This opportunity gives you a great chance to go through multiple phases in the development such as creating of development plans, hardware requirements decomposition from controller level specification, validation of the requirements, electronic circuits design (analog, digital and power electronics), schematic design, PCB layout oversight, formal and informal verification on board and unit level, creation of test procedure and report documents, design descriptions and support during qualification process (Environmental & EMI). Such approach would allow you to significantly grow your technical skills and have a detailed overview of the design of complex electronic systems.
Responsibilities- Development cycle of the Electronic Control Units activities
- Support project planning – hardware development plans, creation of PBA level HW requirements
- Lead a team of engineers through the specification, design, execution, and certification of actuation controllers
- Analog/Digital/Power Electronic circuits design for flight critical applications (DAL A) – schematics creation, PCB layout oversight
- Formal and Informal Verification – design analyses, simulations and testing in the laboratories
- Participate in Cost Reduction ideas generation including Kaizen and Lean Events
- Prepare Test Plans for the project to make sure the alternative component will satisfy all requirements and final product performance meets the specification.
- Creation of documentation – test procedure & result documents, design descriptions, etc.
- Learning and gaining knowledge of complex controller architectures, working closely with a mentor
- Sharing knowledge and lesson learned with peers
- Collaborating with other functions – systems, software, mechanical, test engineers
- Participate in Cost Reduction ideas generation including Kaizen and Lean Events
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
- Very strong practical experience as an Electronics Design Engineer / in electronic circuit development (analog/digital/power electronic)
- English proficiency
