The Senior Corporate Accountant supports Asia finance group in a key finance role and is responsible for finance process improvements through various digitalization and automation tools to enable overall finance team efficiency and faster financial data flows to support with better business decisions. Additionally, this role assists with our finance community training culture, as well as ad-hoc finance operational excellence projects.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand core finance processes and data logics, participate in financial data-flow and process analysis to identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from various finance functions to develop and apply emerging technologies to support finance process optimization and automation, collaborate with IT resources to design practical implementation solutions, drive projects completion and enhancements for ongoing business requirements, as well as assisting in establishing standardized processes and operating procedures.
- Support data integration efforts by connecting business and finance users, enabling the automated, accurate, and seamless flow of data across platforms and develop dashboards that transform complex financial information into clear visual insights, providing management with intuitive and actionable decision support.
- Rotate with accounting and costing processes to drive cost reduction and operational efficiencies initiatives.
- Performs other special projects as needed.
Scope
This role faces several key customers as part of both daily responsibilities and as part of project teams, including Manufacturing Finance, Business Unit Finance, Corporate Analytical Finance and IT group.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors-Accounting or equiv exp
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Powerpoint).
- Good grasp of automation and data-visualization tools (eg. VBA, SQL, Power BI, RPA).
- Familiar with finance business processes.
- Prior experience with SAP system knowledge preferred.

- At least 3 years working experience in Accounting, IT with finance
- Experience in a finance digital-transformation role within a Big Four consulting firm is a Plus.
