WHAT YOU’LL DO
Revenue Operations
- Manage the billing and revenue recognition process across multiple product lines in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for revenue, deferred revenue, and related accounts.
- Review customer contracts and assess revenue treatment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales, sales operations, and AR teams to ensure proper documentation and revenue tracking.
- Work with the business operations team to ensure commissions are calculated and recorded accurately.
- Investigate complex billing and revenue discrepancies and provide resolution.
- Analyze revenue trends and provide actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
Compliance and Controls
- Design and maintain strong internal controls over revenue accounting and reporting.
- Support policy development and drive documentation of accounting procedures and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Product, and Finance to review agreements and advise on revenue implications.
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT to align system workflows and reporting outputs with accounting requirements.
Systems and Data Integrity
- Support finance and operations teams with billing and ERP system improvements.
- Contribute to system-related projects, including software rollouts, automation initiatives, and tool integrations that impact revenue accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally in AdTech, SaaS, or a technology-forward environment
- Deep understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 compliance standards
- Proven track record in managing revenue across multiple business lines
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000
The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate’s qualifications and experience.
