The SQL & Salesforce SOSQL Admin/Developer will build relationships and collaborate with business management and users, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze and prioritize technology requests. The focus will be on data intake, cleansing, organizing, enriching and delivery. This individual will mainly support and maintain the firm’s data environments in Oracle and Salesforce platforms. They will be proactive and forward-thinking with recommending enhancements or new processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and end user satisfaction.
This is accomplished by:

  • Primary role SQL developer and subject matter expert of our enterprise Oracle and Salesforce solutions
  • Maintaining, configuring, managing, and performing ongoing development of Level Four’s SQL and Salesforce platforms including data processing, data processing, data movement, reporting, dashboards, workflows, data loading and API management.
  • Developing SQL queries and data loading routines into and out of data platforms.
  • Assisting in managing, prioritizing, escalating, and resolving internal support data requests.
  • Participating in the development and support of the Oracle RDBMS, Salesforce platform and related applications, including Celigo and other API iPass soluttions.
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and validating data security (users, profiles, and roles) and data integrity/management.
  • Collaborating across the organization for data system releases by building awareness of new emerging functionality, applicability to business and support release by resolving any bug fixes that may arise.
  • Improving and maintaining data quality and integrity in Oracle and Salesforce.
  • Understanding Level Four corporate products and corporate structure to help align the technology platforms to specific Level Four needs

Essential responsibilities and tasks of the SQL & Salesforce SOQL Admin/Developer are:

  • Perform tasks related to ensuring the daily operations of data management including data access/user management, creating & maintaining custom data ,movement, enterprise reporting across stakeholders (executive, management, users) and handling bulk data migrations.
  • Create complex, muti-table SQL and SOQL queries that can be leveraged to enrich and deliver data.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to align the Level Four platform to existing and new business needs.
  • Identify/implement industry forwarding thinking and flexible data model and reporting structures
  • Create and maintain a formal end-to-end release life cycle from requirement gathering, development, release documentation, rollout, training and defect management.
  • Build and maintain data model to ensure data integrity and data consistency across the Salesforce platform.
  • Assist with API connectivity into and out of Oracle/Salesforce linking solutions.
  • Special projects as directed by leadership and other duties and responsibilities as requested by leadership.
  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles, and permission sets to data stores.
  • Carries out responsibilities with minimal level of supervision for complex tasks and no supervision for more routine matters.
  • Document coding changes.
  • Proactive communication to field about system and related processes best practices
  • Additional duties as required

Successful SQL & Salesforce SOQL Admin/Developer candidates will have:
Required

  • 2-3 years’ experience writing and maintaining complex, multi-table queries.
  • Knowledge of API development and API maintenance helping to connect external platforms.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a formal release management program that includes end-to-end release life cycle from requirement gathering, development, release documentation, rollout, training, and defect management.
  • Skilled at automating data intake and distribution of enriched data via APIs and sFTP.
  • Proficient at creating and managing reporting across the spectrum of use cases from enterprise performance reporting, executive reporting, management reporting and end-user reporting.
  • Skilled at constructing a data model that has data integrity and is clean, organized and standardized.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Expert in solving challenging problems with solutions that align to corporate system and data integrity standards.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking translating emerging business needs into useable solutions.
  • Skilled at collaborating across all levels of the organization
  • Organizational skills, technical skills and visualization skills
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged, self-driven, motivated, and a strong strategic thinker

Preferred

  • API knowledge and experience
  • 1-2 Preferred experience with writing Salesforce SOSQL queries.
  • 1-2 Preferred experience with Oracle Cloud Autonomous Database.
  • 1-3 years of Financial Tech experience with emphasis on wealth management and RIA
  • Celigo or equivalent API exchange experience.
  • Ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
