What You’ll Do:
You’ll work in the field performing a wide range of fire services, including installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and sprinkler systems.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals
- Evaluate plans, customer requests, codes, and non-conformance issues for solutions
- Prepare stock materials for daily work orders, optimize material use
- Support take-offs and prepare proposals/quotations as needed
- Complete daily reports on work orders and activities
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and demonstrate leadership
- Mentor team members, apprentices, and field service labor
- Participate in 24/7 on-call emergency service
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining fire protection systems
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems, codes, and regulations in Ontario
- Certifications such as Red Seal Sprinkler Fitter (preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work on remote sites and participate in overtime (per collective agreement)
