We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports and exercise-related injuries. You will work closely with athletes and physically active individuals to optimise their performance, facilitate recovery, and prevent future injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose sports-related injuries
• Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation programs
• Provide immediate on-field care and emergency response during sporting events

• Monitor athlete progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy - Mandatory
• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Sports Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics, or related specialisation - Preferred
• Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy - Desirable
• Valid physiotherapy license and registration with the respective state council
• Certification in sports physiotherapy or sports medicine - Advantage
• CPR and First Aid certification - Required
Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy
• At least 1-2 years of experience working with athletes or in sports settings
• Experience in treating sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
• Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
• Prior experience working with sports teams or athletic organisations - Preferred
• Internship or clinical rotations in sports physiotherapy during education
Additional Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports science
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to travel for sporting events when required
