Job DescriptionProject – the aim you’ll have
Our client provides data services and customizable trading tools to the global sports betting industry and is one of the world's leading names in sports betting technology and trading.
Position - how you'll contribute
- As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve the client's infrastructure in the cloud.
- You will work closely with a client DevOps engineer who will provide guidance and support throughout the process.
Expectations – the experience you need
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in setting up standardized cloud infrastructure deployment pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and Helm for Kubernetes.
- Experience using GitHub Actions for building pipelines, writing Helm charts, and deploying to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Proficiency in deploying Kafka with Terraform/Ansible on Linux VMs and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of application metrics and monitoring, including experience with Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with application tracing using Open Telemetry.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience in relational and document store DBs.
- Familiarity with Kafka/RabbitMQ or similar message bus Experience.
