Splunk Engineer - Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD - TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Poly Required
This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.
7 years of experience is required.
Requirements:
Must have both Splunk System Administration skills and dashboard implementation skills.
The Splunk Engineer is expected to use Splunk software to search, monitor and analyze machine-generated data.
- Scripting Experience (Python, etc.)
- Pulling data from tools via RestAPI
- 7+ years of experience
*Candidate will be considered for a DevOps/Splunk multi-role if they have the right combination of skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Splunk clusters
- Upgrades when required
- API data calls
- IAVA support
- CentOS7 to RHEL8 upgrade
- Moving to AWS
- Pulling logs for servers
- Creating dashboards and briefing material using Splunk data for COR-T

- 1 master loader
- 1 load balancer
- 2 forwarders
