About the Team:

The FIS Australasia technology team is made up of 50+ people. There is also a support team based in Manila who take care of patching, certificates, level 1 on call, user management as well as more complex system administration tasks. 

What you will be doing

• Standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms.
• Experience with Splunk Searching and Reporting, Knowledge Objects administration, Clustering and Forwarder Management.
• Support Splunk on Unix, Linux and Windows-based platforms

What you bring:

• 5+ years of working experience with Splunk Enterprise.
• Should be Splunk Certified Admin
• Working experience with small/medium Splunk deployments. The small scale is
• Ability to develop use cases in the said deployments for search and ingest operations.
• Ability to understand customers' requirements.
• Ability to strike a rapport with the customer and win their trust on Technical merit.
• Basic understanding of networks, and OS.
• Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand problems and how it relates to the customer’s business.
• Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command-line interface.
• Ability to stop, collaborate and listen to technical and non-technical consumers from application developers to executive-level partners.
• Self-motivated and self-educating, always interested in keeping up with technology and improving oneself.
