Responsibilities:
- Overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects related to RF technologies to including planning, scope, development, design, and direction of major projects
- Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and restore hardware, operating systems, applications, and software including updates, security patches, and backups for best end users support relative to all aspects of Spectrum Management and RF technologies
- Ensure user operational requirements are satisfied technically and fielded systems meet user performance expectations
- Maintain temporary frequency requests and approval records and associated databases
- Provide guidance on spectrum certification process, control of frequency allocation, 5-year plans, Spectrum XXI database, frequency deconfliction, and frequency surveillance and monitoring techniques
- Collaborates with others to develop the best way to tackle complex technological problems
- Working in ambiguous environment and collaborating across multiple areas
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in diverse background in Telecommunication and Electronics with experience with cellular systems, wireless networks, RF communications devices, and general communication skills
- Possess knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunication equipment and transmission media, and of the relationship of component parts of communications systems, e.g., hardware devices communications protocol and network accessing devices
- Practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunication approaches, methods, and techniques in the configuration, operation, and maintenance of cellular systems utilizing 3G/4G LTE/5G technologies
- Experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test-bed environments.
- Graduate of Army Electronic Spectrum Manager Course or Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Course
- 5years’ experience within past 10 years as Spectrum Manager/RF Manager
- Meet IAT Level 2 requirements of DoD 8570.1M
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in RF Operations
- Hold or be able to acquire an interim TOP SECRET clearance within 30 days of hire
- Maintain active TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance
- Physical demands rating of medium, lifts a maximum of 50 pounds on occasional basis with frequent or constant lifting of 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Operational experience in Cyberspace Operations and/or Information Warfare
- Cellular and RF engineering and administration experience.
- Experience with electronic attack or electronic warfare systems and operations
- Exercise design, test and evaluation, modeling, and simulations, as well as research and development familiarity
Computer Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
