We are now looking for a Specialist, Test SW Engineering to join our collaborative team in Oulu, Finland. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automated test SW solutions to testers used by production globally. You will maintain high quality standards and performance, working closely with R&D and production teams. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in software development and production test automation with end-to-end responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions for production environments with C#
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with colleagues globally for resolution. Troubleshoot issues in lab, Oulu NPI and EMS factories when required
- Contribute to quality metrics, test coverage analysis, and continuous quality improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in C# and test sequence creation with OpenTAP.
Must-have:
• Solid experience in object-oriented software development
• Proficiency in C# and version control. Other languages are a plus
• Experience with test automation development (OpenTAP)
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Valid passport from a NATO member country
Nice-to-have:
• Understanding of RF technologies, measurement devices and methods
• Experience of PLC programming
• BSCAN / JTAG knowledge
• Knowledge of production environment and processes
