We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Specialist Software Engineer within our global QA Tools Support team. As a Specialist Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to our clients using QA Tools products, such as Squish, Coco and Axivion. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our customers by delivering timely and effective support solutions.
- Provide optimal solutions for customers.
- Work closely with customers and help them to achieve their goals.
- Process support requests from prospects and customers who are developers using our QA tools
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to QA tools
- Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings.
- Work with various other departments to help bring visibility to the customers needs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Strong programming experience with C++ and Python.
- Highly organized and solutions-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
- Knowledge of coding guidelines such as MISRA, CERT and AUTOSAR
- Good understanding of the current C++ standard
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systems
- Experience with shell scripts (Bash or others) and Unix command line.
- Experience with batch scripts (".bat" files) and Windows command line.
- Additional technical qualifications will be an advantage
- Javascript and C experience
- Experience with automated GUI testing (via Squish, QTP, QC, AutoHotkey, or others)
