Wipfli's award-winning marketing team is looking for a proofreader who can help ensure our compelling content is error-free. You'll play a vital role in finalizing our marketing content, including e-books, research reports, ads, campaign assets and more.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Proofread content for grammar, spelling, formatting and style (this includes everything from fixing typos to double-checking links are correct to making sure headlines are in sentence case)
- Liaise with the content piece's writer/editor to work out any issues that need attention and finalize the content
- Complete projects by the requested production deadline
- Stay up to date on AP Stylebook standards and changes, as well as on evolving trends in American English language and grammar
- Stay up to date on Wipfli's editorial style guide and how to write/edit in Wipfli's voice, etc. to help ensure we deliver materials that are on-brand and on-voice
- Act as a brand ambassador, helping to coach Wipfli associates as necessary on the Wipfli brand and style guide
- Exemplify our firm's core values when working with all stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Skillset:
- At least two years of experience as a proofreader
- Expertise in AP Stylebook standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Word) and Adobe Acrobat
- Native-level fluency in American English
- A bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature, Journalism, Communications or similar major
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Experience with project management systems and content/file management systems

- Accurate, persistent and dependable
- Exceptionally detail-oriented
- Thoroughly understands American English grammar
- Can adapt to changing standards and trends in language (we are descriptivists at Wipfli, not prescriptivists)
- Is able to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

- Demonstrates knowledge of and are able to effectively share best practices with the marketing team around language, grammar, the brand, etc.
