Your Opportunity
As a Project Manager within our PMO, you’ll play a key role in turning strategy into execution. You’ll lead projects end to end, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver outcomes that meet financial, timeline, and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities
Own projects from inception, including defining project scope, objectives, governance, and success criteria from the ground up
Establish and maintain all project artifacts (e.g. charter, project plans, schedules, budgets, risk & issue logs, status reports)
Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PMO standards
Define priorities, timelines, resources, and dependencies in collaboration with stakeholders
Proactively manage risks, issues, and change throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective execution
Communicate progress clearly through regular status updates and stakeholder reporting
Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery and processes utilizing AI tools
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to include Smartsheets, Jira, copilot
Experience with using AI tools for business and project management
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery models
Experience with business and process design
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities
Strong business acumen and ability to navigate change
Self-starter mindset with confidence managing conflict and ambiguity
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience in project management
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Exposure to third-party delivery models and vendor management
Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
Preferred Certifications
PMP or Prince2 certification
Process improvement certifications (CMMI, CBPP, ISO 9001)
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.
The full-time salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000
.
