The New Product Logistics Specialist will oversee logistics for new product development in the China Business Unit. This individual will lead logistics functions and collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to guide projects from concept through delivery, utilizing all available ADI new-product development flows and systems. Acting as an advisor to product schedules, the candidate must seize opportunities to resolve issues and achieve group product development goals. This role is for an energetic and motivated individual seeking new career challenges, with a strong background in product logistics, who can adapt to fast-paced projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all logistics aspects of New Product development for the group
- Liaise between Product Line, Engineering, and Manufacturing organizations
- Create, review with team, and submit PRIME and PROMIS applications and manufacturing interface forms for all projects.
- Order all material required for development projects and monitor progress to ensure instructions are carried out as required
- Review the status of WIPs for evaluation, qualification, characterization, and report to the team on progress versus commits
- Manage and disposition any engineering WIPs and escalate/expedite material when required
- Identify process weaknesses that result in material delays and errors, develop solutions & implement changes
- Maintain PLE milestones
- Ability to adapt to changes and drive tasks to closure by coordinating with multiple groups
Required Qualifications (must have)
• Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain.
• 3 years of experience in any logistics role with relevant working experience
• Solid knowledge of planning and analytical skills is essential
• Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
• Familiarity and Experience with the L-ADI NP tool chain are an advantage
• Be self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility
• Experience working with global or cross-site teams.
• Possess strong interpersonal & communication skills
