Specialist (Network & Security)

• Architect and implement comprehensive, layered security solutions to safeguard the organization's on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and data
  ● Conduct thorough risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks
  ● Configure, manage, and optimize security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions
  ● Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
  ● Investigate and respond to security incidents, analyze logs and telemetry data, and implement remediation strategies to minimize the impact of security breaches
  ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business stakeholders, to align security initiatives with organizational goals and objectives
  ● Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend and implement security enhancements to keep the organization's security posture strong
  ● Mentor and train junior security engineers and professionals to develop their skills and expertise
  ● Participate in the development and implementation of the organization's overall cybersecurity strategy

What will you need?
● Educational Background:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, communication engineering, or a related field

● Experience:
o 2-4 Years' as senior security engineering or related role
o Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred

● Technical Proficiency:
Technical Skills:
● Extensive knowledge of network security protocols, standards, and best practices (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
● Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IAM, vulnerability management, log analysis)
● Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certifications in cybersecurity are highly desirable
● Experience in security operations, incident response, and threat hunting is a plus
