Job Description

Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team as:

 

Specialist Finance

(Position is temporary – July 31, 2025)

 

We are seeking a skilled Specialist to join our Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our partner Accenture to ensure accurate financial results and compliance during task outsourcing stabilization period.

You will be responsible for controlling quality and timeliness of tasks executed by partner, resolving issues and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position also requires close collaboration with all Finance Systems Teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily operations, providing support to partners by addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.

  • Identify and report any deviations from standard procedures, escalating issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.

  • Actively participate in developing action plans to address operational challenges, ensuring follow-through and continuous progress on outlined solutions.

  • Keep the Circle K Business Centre Finance Systems teams informed on the status and progress of daily operations, ensuring transparency and alignment.

  • Continuously analyze and review existing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.

  • Partner with the IT team to address and resolve any access-related issues encountered by partners, ensuring seamless operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance-related roles, with a preference for candidates with a background in accounting.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes.

  • Good analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams.
