Specialist, Data Analytics
About the Role: We are seeking a Specialist to identify and/or execute high-value business opportunities, select appropriate analytics/modeling approaches, and execute end-to-end solutions for a financial service client account within JLL's evolving data ecosystem. This role focuses on transforming business challenges into actionable data solutions that deliver measurable impact across our real estate portfolio.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Proactively identify, evaluate and share business use cases where advanced analytics, automation, machine learning, or AI can drive significant efficiency and value for JLL and our clients
Manage data projects and pipeline based on business requirement, account impact, data availability, technical feasibility, and resource requirements
Develop proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate tangible business impact, with a track record of taking experimental approach to production
Execute complete solution delivery from business case development through mockup and impact measurement, prioritizing speed-to-value through agile development and phased implementation approaches
Provide regular updates to management on project progress, pipeline of opportunities, and technical challenges to ensure alignment and support for data science initiatives
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand problems, define success metrics, and validate solution effectiveness
Navigate JLL's Azure and Databricks environment and technology landscape to identify the most effective tools and approaches for each business challenge, and maintain clear playbook, documentation and cross train for knowledge continuity
Work with IT and platform teams to secure necessary permissions and troubleshoot technical barriers to implementation
Maintain and enhance existing BI infrastructure while building advanced analytical capabilities that address real business needs
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
4+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2+ years specifically in advanced analytics, data science, or machine learning
Experience with analytics and modeling approaches (regression, classification, clustering, time series, LLM, prompt engineering, etc.). Proficiency in Databricks SQL, R and/or Python for statistical modeling and machine learning.
Demonstrated track record of identifying a business opportunity, designing an appropriate solution, and implementing it successfully - be prepared to discuss several specific examples of your end-to-end data project delivery
Strong business acumen with ability to translate abstract business challenges into technical requirements and communicate technical results through clear visualizations and business-friendly presentations
Proven ability to work with cloud-based data platforms and adapt quickly to new technological environments
Capable of independently researching, evaluating, and implementing the right tools for each business case
Proper risk and documentation mindset to maintain clear process mapping documentation, playbook and standards, and auditable results for validation
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, SSRS and traditional BI tools
Understanding of real estate, corporate services, or property management business models
Demonstrated ability to work in matrixed organizations and influence without authority

Estimated compensation for this position:
95,000.00 – 105,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
