Lotus is a personal health agent that understands your health data and works with leading doctors to give you proactive care, 24/7. We're researchers, engineers and physicians building a new model of care. We call it Infinite Care.
Our team includes ex-founders and engineers who have built and scaled consumer apps to millions of users with prior successful exits. Lotus is backed by Kleiner Perkins, CRV, clinicians at Harvard and Stanford among others.
The role
This is a founding role on our new New York team, working directly with our Chief Growth Officer. Most of your time is spent with people: patients using Lotus, doctors across New York and the team building the product. The work shifts with whatever matters most that month.
What you'll do
Plan and run our events in New York, from intimate dinners with physicians and healthcare leaders on the future of care with AI to patient meetups
Get to know our patients and talk with them about their health and their experience with Lotus
Set up and lead feedback sessions where patients help shape what we build
Build relationships with doctors and healthcare leaders across New York
Help bring patient and physician stories to life with our content team
Own projects end to end, from first idea to follow up
What we're looking for
Medical training (MD, DO, med school) or 2+ years working directly with patients
You understand how doctors think and can talk to one as a peer
You keep up with what's new in AI and want to use it to improve how people get care
You like talking to people, and people open up to you
Organized. You keep a lot moving and close every loop
Clear communicator, in writing and in person
Something you started or led, with results you can point to
Marketing experience not required

Skills Required
- Medical training, including MD, DO, or medical school experience
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with patients
- Ability to understand and communicate with doctors as a peer
- Interest in artificial intelligence and its application to healthcare
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience starting or leading an initiative with measurable results
- Involvement in MD Plus, EM Collaborative, or similar groups
- Experience building a personal venture or organization
