Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:
• Contacting assigned suppliers to determine when they will be compliant with the new UDI regulation
• Much of the work will involve contacting suppliers via phone and email; some suppliers are outside of the US
• Maintaining detailed information on the compliance status of each supplier
• Setting up meetings and following up regularly with suppliers to ensure they meet their commitments
• Escalating to others in the team if suppliers are not meeting their commitments
Desired Characteristics:
• Familiarity with other similar regulations, such as RoHS, REACh, Conflict Minerals etc.
• Detail oriented
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
• Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
• Greenbelt certification preferred
QualificationsQualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related discipline – HIGHLY PREFERRED, or HS Diploma/GED plus 3 years work experience
• Computer proficiency, particularly with MS-Excel, Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships
