Position Summary
The Sourcing Recruiter and Branding Partner identifies and engages top talent through creating and implementing innovative sourcing strategies, ensuring consistent messaging focused on passive candidates. This talent partner builds strong candidate pipelines for positions across all markets while shaping a compelling, authentic narrative about Busey as an employer. The partner works cross-functionally with recruiting and hiring managers to increase talent attraction, candidate engagement and differentiate the organization in competitive talent markets.Duties & Responsibilities•Create sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates to convert into interested candidates.
•Collaborate with the Recruiting Team and hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
•Source a talent pool through various creative sourcing channels, including online databases, search engines, social media platforms, email campaigns, cold calling, and professional networks.
•Screen and evaluate candidates’ profiles to determine their suitability for open positions as well as contacting the candidate to determine their suitability for open positions.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records on all candidate interactions in the various databases.
•Develop, execute and manage the employment brand strategies to further drive the talent brand initiatives including managing Largely, Busey Career Page, LI, Indeed and Circa.
•Work closely with the branding team on social media posts such as Facebook, LI, and Instagram.
•Conduct regular trainings with hiring managers on how to use LI recruiter
•Monitor performance metrics of sourcing tools utilized.
•Maintain a strong relationship with the Talent Acquisition Team to provide qualified candidates for open positions.
•Maintain contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture up to date market intelligence and briefing them on potential current and future opportunities.
•Keep up to date with future talent needs and proactively source; develop talent pool and pipeline as needed.
•Monitor latest trends and developments of sourcing tools and technologies including the AI resources.
•Provide feedback to the Talent Acquisition Manager on the recruitment marketplace and trends.
•Promote our talent brand as a great place to work and drive to present a compelling story.
•Gather data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact the ability to attract talent.
Education & ExperienceKnowledge of:
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM and various other recruiting platforms; Workday is a preferred.
- Building relationships, sourcing candidates and filling positions timely.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to build working relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify hiring challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Self-starter who can remain flexible and comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to:
- Handle multiple tasks at the same time with frequent interruptions and strict time constraints.
- Utilizing social media tools such as LinkedIn, for sourcing and recruitment.
- Maintain confidentiality; adhere to Busey’s policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practice
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree with 3-5 years of talent sourcing, recruiting and/or hiring experience preferred.
- Previous Human Resources or related experience required.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $63,000 - $75,000/yr)
