Job Title: Sourcing Manager

Locations: Orange, CT or Boston, MA

Salary Range: $106,000 - $138,500; dependent upon location

Schedule: On Site - Office

JOB SUMMARY:

Manage the procurement process for materials and services, acting as the procurement and commercial lead. Lead competitive sourcing events for projects valued in the multi-million-dollar range. Assess proposals, select suppliers, and manage supplier relationships. Implement cost reduction strategies, maintain customer service standards, and prepare relevant reports, presentations, and other documents. Perform additional duties as assigned.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and administer requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations.

Evaluate and choose suppliers in line with procurement policies, quality standards, cost-saving goals, and budget requirements.

Lead cross-functional teams to enhance procurement initiatives and improve performance, including participation in global teams and projects.

Develop, implement, and lead procurement sourcing strategies for various categories such as IT, Fleet, Facility, Operation Technology, People & Organization, and Customer Service.

Ensure that strategies provide optimal solutions while meeting internal deadlines and minimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), adhering to quality, health, safety, environment (QHSE), and procurement policies.

Negotiate and award large contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Establish structured negotiation plans that align with company objectives and key performance indicators. Direct supplier negotiations and manage agreements, coordinating with legal counsel as needed.

Regularly interaction with stakeholders in various business areas and purchasing in the USA and Spain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years relevant experience required.
  • Previous experience in managing and coordinating large/ complex projects.
  • Knowledge of supply chain methodologies, models, and procedures.

 Certifications:

  • C.P.M., C.P.S.M, or equivalent or working toward achievement will be a plus.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to lead and manage responsibilities across cross-functional teams with minimal guidance.

Strategic orientation with strong analytical, project management, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Self-motivated with proven experience leading initiatives and fostering consensus in a matrixed global organization.

Proficiency in navigating and succeeding in a complex reporting structure, preferably within an international context.

Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment with tight schedules and demanding targets.

Capability to foster effective teamwork by establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with colleagues, managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Effective oral communication in both individual and group settings.

Clear and concise written communication that effectively conveys the intended message.

Ability to analyze project risks and proactively develop solutions with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum five years relevant experience

  • Experience developing and implementing procurement sourcing strategies across categories (IT, Fleet, Facility, OT, P&O, Customer Service)
  • Ability to work within complex reporting structures and international contexts
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, analyze project risks, and develop proactive solutions
  • C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or equivalent certification (or working toward) will be a plus
