We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect sourcing, along with a strong understanding of software, to join our team as a Sourcing Manager.

As the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for executing sourcing activities across multiple categories and European locations. This will involve understanding stakeholders' needs, conducting market research, providing regular feedback and updates, facilitating supplier communication and negotiations. Additionally you will handle contract management tasks and reporting.

To thrive in this role, you will need to be a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong background in indirect sourcing, along with a strong understanding of software field. Your expertise should extend to areas such as sourcing processes and contracting documentation. In addition to strategic responsibilities, you should also be comfortable handling operational tasks. This position requires the ability to work independently in a multicultural and diverse environment.

 

As the Sourcing Manager you will play a crucial role in fulfilling sourcing requests for goods or services across multiple sourcing categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to identify suitable sourcing options.
  • Reviewing and evaluating supplier proposals, engaging directly with suppliers and business stakeholders.
  • Compiling comprehensive comparison reports and facilitating decision analysis, as required.
  • Collaborating with the Contract Management and Legal teams to ensure negotiated terms and conditions are accurately reflected in sourcing documentation.
  • Overseeing contract and agreement close-outs, change orders, amendments, extensions, or renewals.
  • Assisting with supplier onboarding, purchasing documentation, and maintaining proper archiving in the Document Management System.
  • Guiding and training internal stakeholders on Sourcing and Contracting processes, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests and performing necessary administrative duties.

 

Key qualifications and qualities we're seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect sourcing, preferably with a strong knowledge of software environment & sourcing
  • Familiarity with contracting documentation and sourcing processes.
  • Ability to handle both strategic and operational tasks effectively.
  • Self-starting attitude with a keen eye for detail and organization.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a multicultural and diverse team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Adaptable and flexible mindset to meet evolving needs and changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (365), including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI and others
