We’re seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to provide essential support to the Sourcing team! This role will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure product development, merchandising, and sourcing timelines are met, and delivery schedules are adhered to. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sourcing & Production Manager to update various work-in-progress timelines.
  • Manage purchase orders from placement to delivery, following up extensively with overseas vendors.
  • Update development and on-time delivery trackers, communicating status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and negotiate costs with vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor delivery dates, follow up with required documentation, and communicate updates promptly to stakeholders.
  • Support the Product team through the coordination of vendor meetings and travel.
  • Prepare and generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports, charts, and materials aligned with departmental KPIs.
  • Follow up on all sample and development requests.
  • Lead weekly calls with key vendors to review production progress, resolve open issues, and maintain proactive communication.
  • Communicate any changes in timing to cross-functional teams.
  • Track and distribute samples to relevant team members.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in material sourcing, product development, or design is a strong asset.
  • Diploma in Business Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is an asset.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, techniques, pricing, lead times, and garment construction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
