Sourcing & Category Enablement, Analyst/Senior Analyst

The role of the Indirect Sourcing & Category Management Procurement Buyer will be to carry out Indirect Sourcing related activities, as well as, provide operational procurement assistance to the Thailand Procurement Lead. This will involve administering the entire procurement process from sourcing (including assisting in RFP development) to contract sign-off.

• Develop Sourcing activities / RFPs

• Work with internal Accenture stakeholders to determine product and service specifications; coordinate with external suppliers to obtained required products and services

• Undertake appropriate market research and benchmarking of the supply base for Accenture’s requirements

• Involve in tactical sourcing and occasional spot buying activities

• Track monthly basis of savings and other commercial benefits realized from sourced agreements

• Basic skills and knowledge in contract management and contract review T&Cs

• Manage and negotiate strategic sourcing initiatives

• Manage crossed category sourcing activities – Workplace, HR, Travel, IT and Corp Services

• Business related graduate degree
• Bilingual and fluent in English
• At least 1 year indirect procurement related experience and basic contract management for a wide range of spend categories and the management of suppliers
• Strong administrative, analytical, communication skills
• Proactive and customer-focused approach with friendly attitude and determination to ensure excellent customer service and datelines are delivered
• Confident with good influencing skills and ability to demonstrate initiative to prioritize and ensure completion of work in an effective and timely manner
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, and results driven team environment. Fast turnaround time is expected
• Relevant knowledge of local supplier base
• Moderate and/or higher competency in the use of Microsoft Office IT packages – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
