As a Sourcing Associate in our Talent Acquisition Team, you will lead the charge in identifying and engaging top candidates for our organization on priority openings. You will leverage your deep understanding of the marketplace to create strategic sourcing plans and build strong candidate relationships, proactively reaching out where needed to bring in passive talent. Together, we will drive the success of our recruitment efforts and ensure a seamless transition from applicant to interview stage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and deliver passive talent for priority roles within the JPMorgan Functions segment.
- Proactively build and manage talent pipelines across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Conduct strategic outreach campaigns to engage relevant talent through creative Boolean, X-ray, and advanced search strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with recruiting partners, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to successfully hire top talent.
- Create and maintain candidate relationships through proactive engagement and compelling outreach messages.
- Screen and present candidate information to stakeholders consistently and efficiently.
- Recommend and implement recruitment and sourcing strategies for long-term growth.
- Conduct deep research to maintain knowledge of the marketplace and provide market insights, talent availability data, and competitor mapping.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with a proven track record in strategic recruiting, sourcing and/or candidate engagement.
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing channels and techniques, including proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, GitHub, and other sourcing platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft messages that drive high response rates.
- Ability to conduct deep research, analyze market trends, and deliver data-driven sourcing reports and insights.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools to track, manage, and report candidate pipelines.
- Demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in managing candidate relationships and recommending effective recruitment strategies.
- Track record of success in creatively solving challenges related to bringing top talent for key hiring roles.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment either in a search agency (contingent or retained are positive) or corporate structure; non-financial services experience is welcome too
- Familiarity with passive candidate engagement strategies and industry-specific recruitment practices.
- Commitment to excellence and on-going development: including use of AI in sourcing process.
- Experience in building and maintaining long-term candidate relationships and promoting diversity sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated capability with innovative sourcing strategies including: Boolean logic, X-ray search, and incorporating AI/LLM resources to improve talent sourcing impacts.
- Certifications welcome but not necessary: AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), LinkedIn Certified Professional – Recruiter, or equivalent.
