SUMMARY: The SOP Compliance Support is responsible for coordinating efforts of processes, and tasks in vendor compliance toward the goal of assuring Summit Racing’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are adhered to by our partner vendors. The SOP compliance team’s responsibility is to increase vendor participation in the areas of Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), Future Ship Notices providing estimated ship dates (ADJ/OVR), order acknowledgment (ACK), Purchase Order cancellation accuracy, and general business to business website (B2B) communication. The SOP compliance team’s goal is to explore the best solution for vendors to communicate order details to Summit Racing Equipment either by using electronic data interchange (EDI) or our B2B website. The SOP compliance team collaborates closely with our vendors to rectify SOP violations which hinder smooth product receipts, and accurate inventory procurement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:- Input data entry into the B2B website and the internal business system to maintain system accuracy.
- Assist in educating and coaching new and existing suppliers on the Business-to-Business website (“B2B”) functions, including ASN, Future Ship Notice creation, and Overdue reporting. Communicate information that will aid other departments in performing their job duties.
- Assist in reviewing vendor grade reporting and correspondence with suppliers to resolve areas where improvement is needed, including ASNs, packaging, ship to wrong site, labeling, and barcodes. Participate in supplier meetings.
- Assist in reviewing, documenting, resolving, and monitoring supplier standard operating procedure solutions. Document resolutions within the vendor management system, Jira applications, and Teams channels.
- Utilize IntelligentXchange website to review electronic data interchange (EDI) data provided by Summit Racing Equipment suppliers and assist with suggested improvements as needed. (Training provided)
- Assist I.T. in EDI trading partner set up including ASNs, inventory feeds, acknowledgments, and invoicing documents.
- Perform SOP Compliance line reviews and input within the Jira system.
- Support SOP Enforcement Supervisor and SOP Compliance Team Leader in effective departmental communication and relaying answers to internal and external questions as directed.
- Work with Receiving and the OFC (order fulfillment center) to maximize material handling efficiencies and to resolve receiving issues as they arise.
- Responsible for attaining company and department goals set for ASN compliance levels, and SOP violation service levels.
- Assist with barcode/GTIN improvements. Input barcode data within Oscar upload and MBS upload to maintain rich data levels.
- High school diploma
- 2 years business experience including supplier interaction and excel spreadsheet experience.
