Job Description
This is a PRN position
A sonographer uses ultrasound high-frequency sound waves to take images of the body's internal organs and tissues to assist doctors with diagnosing and monitoring a variety of conditions and diseases. A sonographer is also known as a diagnostic medical sonographer or an ultrasound technician.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Education: Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Work Experience: 0 – 2 years
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
