The Role

Own the complete technical relationship with publishers and demand partners—from pre-sales solution design through hands-on integration and ongoing optimization. Combine deep ad tech expertise with consultative problem-solving to ensure partners extract maximum value from CloudX's platform

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical discovery and solution design during pre-sales engagements with all regional publishers and demand partners
  • Own SDK integration from kickoff to first impression served, ensuring smooth technical onboarding
  • Provide real-time technical support during integration, QA, and optimization phases
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across the ad delivery pipeline - SDK, auctions, bidding, reporting
  • Build automation tools, AI agents, and scripts to scale integration support and partner enablement
  • Leverage AI to analyze integration patterns, predict potential issues, and generate technical documentation
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate partner feedback into platform improvements and AI-powered features
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and best practice playbooks using AI assistance
  • Monitor partner technical health and proactively identify optimization opportunities using data analysis and AI insights

What You Bring

  • 5+ years experience in ad tech as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Software Engineer focused on platform integrations
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical integrations with enterprise clients, ideally in mobile, SDK-based, or programmatic advertising environments
  • Strong proficiency in iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin, Java) for SDK integration support
  • Deep understanding of ad tech ecosystem: mediation platforms, header bidding, RTB/OpenRTB, auction mechanics, ad servers
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across client-side and server-side systems
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (like Claude) to enhance productivity - code generation, debugging, documentation, log analysis
  • Ability to build AI-powered automation tools and scripts that scale your impact beyond manual work
  • Excellent communication skills - can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with BI/analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Databricks)

You're comfortable diving into logs, analyzing bidstream data, and architecting solutions.
Consultative mindset: You're not just an implementer - you're a trusted technical advisor. You ask great questions to understand publisher needs, design solutions that balance requirements with platform constraints, and guide partners toward optimal outcomes.

Problem-solving: When integrations break or partners face issues, you form hypotheses, test them methodically, and communicate clearly throughout. You don't just fix the immediate problem - you identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
High ownership and initiative: You own partner technical success end-to-end. When you spot opportunities to improve our platform or processes, you build prototypes, document proposals, and drive change. 
Early-stage mentality: You thrive in ambiguity and move fast. You know when "good enough" is better than perfect and when to advocate for rigorous solutions. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats - one day doing hands-on integration work, the next presenting to executives, the day after that building automation tools.
AI-forward approach: You actively use AI tools to scale your impact - analyzing logs, debugging code, creating documentation, building automation. You understand what AI can help with and where human expertise is critical. You're excited about building AI-powered solutions for partners.
