QuotaPath seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer who is technically knowledgeable about data pipelines, databases, third-party integrations, and complex implementations. This role will ensure that customers’ data needs are met throughout their journey.
The ideal candidate will thrive with a diverse set of responsibilities, ranging from writing SQL to advising customers during their sales process to debugging issues affecting data integrations. You will be key to the formation of strategic partnerships with customers and integration partners.
As customers’ data needs become more sophisticated in the years to come, the data team will grow in its importance and scope. Over time, there may be an opportunity to specialize in implementations, data pipelines, or customer collaboration.
Job Overview
- QuotaPath seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer with a strong background in administering financial, billing, and/or CRM platforms and a solid grasp of Python and APIs. You will work at the intersection of customer success, product engineering, and sales, ensuring customers’ technical needs are met from pre-sale through long-term adoption.
- Ideal candidates may come from roles such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager. They will thrive in environments where they can combine technical problem-solving with customer-facing collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customers through the implementation of complex integrations, including financial, billing, and CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with customer experience teams to ensure successful onboarding, configuration, and optimization of our platform.
- Work closely with product engineers to build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines and API-based integrations.
- Assist in developing best practices and technical documentation to enable internal teams and customers.
- Partner with account executives during the sales cycle to scope and demonstrate tailored technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and scripting in Python; SQL expertise required.
- Proven experience integrating with financial, billing, and/or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Stripe).
- Strong understanding of technical implementation processes and complex data integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into successful proofs-of-concept and solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, ideally as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integrations Developer, or Technical Account Manager.
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) a plus.
- The base annual salary range is $110K to $135K, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A variable component will be tied to role-specific outcomes.
- Comprehensive compensation package including equity options, company 401k contribution, insurance premiums coverage at 90% (50% for dependents), and flexible PTO.
