About the roleYour role as a Solutions Engineer will be the bridge between our customers' business challenges and Vooma's AI agent technology. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, and build custom AI agents that transform their operations.
This is a rare opportunity to join a talented and experienced team at the ground level, working at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and a critical industry. You'll harness the power of LLMs to create product experiences for logistics teams that weren't previously possible.
Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with customers to deeply understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives, then designing AI agent solutions to solve those problems
Supporting our sales team to win enterprise deals
Building, configuring, and deploying custom AI agents using our platform
Working closely with the engineering team to identify product and platform improvements
Creating clear documentation, training materials, and best practices to help customers get maximum value from our AI agents
Serving as the technical liaison between customers and the product team, translating business requirements into technical specifications
Supporting customer implementations and ensuring successful adoption and scaling of our solutions
Contributing to the ongoing improvement of our AI agent platform based on real-world customer feedback
3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (solutions engineering, technical consulting, implementation engineering, etc.)
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and workflows
Experience working with APIs, data integration, and technical implementation projects
Experience working with databases, and a strong command of querying languages (eg. SQL)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset with a drive to find innovative solutions to customer challenges
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation technology
Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or large language models
Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Prior experience at a high-growth startup
Background in enterprise software implementations or customer success
