Role Summary:

As a Product Advocate at Prefect, you will be the first point of contact for our users. Your primary responsibility will be to build lasting relationships with new users, providing light-touch technical support and showcasing Prefect as a user-friendly and technically advanced platform. You will help qualify leads, provide insights to our product team, and ensure users have a great first experience with Prefect.

You will report to our Lead Product Advocate, Bianca.

What You'll Do:

• User Engagement: Conduct introductory calls with new Prefect users and prospective users to build rapport and present Prefect as a technically advanced and approachable product
• Technical Support: Provide initial technical guidance, answer technical questions for users, point users in the right direction, and share best practices during brief interactions
• Lead Qualification: Assess potential leads and give demos to identify those who might transition from free to paid users while maintaining customer relationships
• Feedback Loop: Collect and relay user feedback, file feature requests, and bug reports to the product team to inform product development and improve user experience
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to user engagement and support

Your Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in customer solutions, forward deployment
• 2+ years experience working with Python
• 2+ years of working with data architectures and tools, building data pipelines
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP and/or Azure
• High quality verbal and written communication skills

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is ($80,000-$110,000). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and work location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your recruiter can share more about the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please keep in mind that equity is not included in the range provided above and will represent a significant part of your total compensation. Benefits and any bonus or incentive compensation is also not included in the range provided above.
