Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Solutions Services, the Solutions Engineer III is the technical sales partner for our European sales team. You will lead discovery, design solutions and deliver compelling demonstrations that turn customer challenges into technical wins – helping leading consumer brands reduce supply chain risk and helping us grow in the UK, Italy and across Europe. You will join a high-performing, global Solutions Engineering team that shares knowledge openly, offers a clearly defined growth path and gives you the tools and training to succeed. This position is fully remote and will be located in the United Kingdom or Italy.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

• Leading discovery sessions with SMB, mid-market and enterprise customers to understand their current state, pain points and requirements.
• Designing and delivering tailored product demonstrations (several each week), both remotely and on-site at customer locations.
• Translating business requirements into scalable solutions, including integration strategies and technical roadmaps with customer stakeholders.
• Owning the technical side of the sale: RFP/RFI responses, information security questionnaires and Statements of Work outlining the final solution design and scope.
• Supporting Marketing at industry events, trade shows and webinars, and sharing customer insight with Product and R&D.
• Partnering with Customer Success to deliver smooth handoffs for implementation and onboarding.

• Travel is around 50% of your time, mainly to customer sites and industry events across the UK and Europe, plus occasional trips to the US for team meetings, workshops and Sales Kickoff. Trips often include overnight stays. Outside of travel, you will work fully remotely and plan your calendar together with the sales team.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time across the UK, Europe and occasionally the US, including overnight stays.

• Fluency in English (native or full professional proficiency) and the existing right to work in the United Kingdom or Italy
• 2+ years of pre-sales experience (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant or similar) for SaaS or enterprise software, OR 2+ years of hands-on experience using or administering PLM, quality, compliance or supply chain systems in Food & Beverage, Nutraceuticals, CPG or Retail.
• Strong technical background, including APIs, integrations, SaaS deployments and web technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Professional proficiency in Italian; French or Portuguese are also valued, as is any additional European language.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Nutraceuticals, CPG or Retail industries (e.g. formulation, quality, regulatory compliance, supplier management).
• Solid understanding of AI technologies, ideally having sold or used Agentic AI solutions in your day-to-day work.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with PLM, QMS or supplier compliance platforms, or with workflow and automation tools.
