About Team:
Our team is spread across multiple regions and is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining tools used for the commercial organization including the Sales, Proposals, and Contracts departments. We work with internal customers across the globe to deliver timely analysis and tools used for both internal and external customers impacted by our commercial organization.
Apprenticeship Summary:
The Apprentice participates in and executes the entry level department functions (Designation of Apprentice) in accordance with Fortrea and/or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ø Runs and executes daily/weekly data cleaning processes.
Ø Analyzes data to produce exceptions and issues causing the daily processes to fail.
Ø Codes and debugs existing programs to make business required modifications.
Ø Collects and performs analysis (mathematical/statistical/financial) on data collections and files consisting of excel, csv, and sql data.
Ø With guidance begins to develop new programs or automation to assist business needs.
Education Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.
Skills: Scripting, programming, computation (mathematics, statistics, basic numeracy). Should be familiar with at least one scripting or programming language such as visual basic, visual basic for applications, python, or similar. At least basic understanding of excel, csv, and sql is beneficial.
