About the job
Enterprise deals are getting more technical. Every serious prospect we talk to needs someone who can walk them through the architecture before they sign. Whether it is a Pharma company running contingent workforce on Workday, a Consulting firm on SAP SuccessFactors, or a fast-moving tech business managing contractors through ServiceNow, the expectation is the same: a credible technical conversation, early in the cycle. Right now, that burden falls on product engineering. That slows us down and is not the right use of their time.
This role changes that. You will be Worksome's first dedicated Solutions Architect, embedded in the Sales organization and reporting directly to the SVP Sales. You will work hand-in-hand with Implementation Services, Customer Success and Product, own the technical conversation in enterprise sales cycles, build the integration blueprints that give prospects the confidence to move forward, and establish the pre-sales architecture function from scratch.
What you'll actually do
- Own the technical conversation in enterprise sales cycles. You will join discovery calls and demos to translate Worksome's platform capabilities into concrete answers for IT, HRIS, and Procurement stakeholders. When a prospect asks how Worksome connects to their Workday tenant, or what our data residency and security posture looks like, you have the answer on the call. Not three days later.
- Design and document integration architectures and workflows. You will produce clear, credible integration blueprints that map workflows between Worksome and the systems our customers run: HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Oracle HCM), provisioning systems (ServiceNow, Okta), procurement and PO systems (Coupa, Ariba), and timesheet connectors. These documents win deals.
- Define Worksome's agentic AI integration story. Customers and prospects are increasingly asking how AI agents can interact with Worksome for onboarding flows, approval automation, and workforce intelligence. Worksome already has an AI integration layer in production, operating under strict zero-data-training constraints. You will shape and articulate how that extends to agentic use cases, working closely with Product to ensure our positioning reflects reality.
- Serve as the bridge between Sales, Product, and Implementation Services. You will qualify and document technical requirements before they reach product engineering, ensure implementation teams have the documented context they need, and feed deal-driven insights back to the Product roadmap. You reduce noise and increase velocity across all three functions. You will work closely with the Implementation team and ensure they understand the required and desired functionality prior to contract signature.
Build the SA function. You will define the playbooks, integration reference architectures, RFP response libraries, and technical collateral that scale beyond just you. As Worksome grows, you will help shape what the Solutions Architecture team looks like.
About you
You have spent time in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role at an enterprise SaaS company and you know what a good integration conversation looks like. You are comfortable whiteboarding a Workday connector on a call with a CIO's team and then writing the subsequent architecture document. You are not just technically credible. You are commercially sharp. You understand that your job is to help close deals, not just answer questions.
What you bring
- 5+ years in Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or a technical consulting role at an enterprise SaaS company. Ideally, in HR Tech, Workforce Management, EOR, Payroll, or a closely adjacent space.
- Deep familiarity with enterprise HRIS ecosystems. You can have a credible technical conversation about Workday HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, and BambooHR without needing to prep for a week.
- Experience designing API-based integrations and data flows: REST, OAuth, webhooks, middleware like MuleSoft or Boomi, and SFTP-based batch flows.
- Working knowledge of provisioning and identity systems (ServiceNow, Okta), procurement platforms (Coupa, SAP Ariba), and timesheet and billing connectors.
- Comfort discussing enterprise security requirements: data residency, encryption standards, SLA commitments, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. Enterprise security reviews are a routine part of this role, not an occasional one.
- A formed point of view on agentic AI and how LLM-based layers interact with enterprise platforms via APIs and orchestration frameworks, plus the ability to discuss that with a technical buyer without hand-waving.
- Experience working across HR, Procurement, IT, and Finance stakeholders. You adjust your register depending on who is in the room.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and building things from scratch. There is no existing SA playbook here. You will write it.
- Flexible on working hours, so you can work with clients across time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with contingent workforce management, MSP/VMS environments, or the broader external workforce ecosystem.
- Prior experience at an FMS, VMS, EOR, or Payroll platform.
- Hands-on experience building or evaluating AI agent workflows (LangChain, CrewAI, or similar) in an enterprise context.
- Fluency in English.
How to apply
Send a resume and a short note (a paragraph, not a cover letter) telling us:
- The most technically complex integration you have architected in a sales context. What was the stack, what was the challenge, and what happened to the deal.
- Your perspective on how agentic AI layers should connect to workforce management platforms like Worksome. One paragraph. No slides.
- Why this role, at Worksome, right now.
What We Can Offer You
At Worksome, you’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team where your contributions will directly impact our company’s growth. As we expand, you’ll have opportunities for professional development, learning, and skill-building. We value well-being and collaboration, offering a balanced, supportive work environment for everyone.
- The seat at the table. You report directly to the SVP Sales and are present at the deals that matter, not three layers removed from them.
- The build opportunity. Worksome is at the point in its growth where the SA function can be shaped properly, with the right frameworks, the right collateral, and the right hire. That hire is you.
- The mentorship. You will work with leadership who came from Google, Workday, SAP, LinkedIn and Meta, alongside product leadership and founders who like to move fast and think hard.
- The category moment. The external workforce management category is breaking open. Analyst tailwinds, enterprise adoption, and an AI-driven reshaping of how companies engage contingent talent: all of it is happening now. You will be in the room where it is being defined.
- Based in Copenhagen, with flexibility in working hours to support Account Executives and Implementation teams across the US and UK time zones.
- Work-life balance and a company that genuinely values individual wellbeing.
- A culture built on trust, transparency, and inclusion.
- Default in-office, based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation, healthcare insurance, pension (4% employer contribution), and equity
- Real impact — your ideas and decisions will shape the product directly.
- A collaborative, curious team that's figuring out the future of work together.
We believe the best product people are hard to categorise. If this role sounds like you — even partly — we'd encourage you to apply.

What We Do
For so long, our careers have been driven by geography, access to opportunities within our networks, and a sense of obligation to take a job or build our teams with who and what was “good enough”. But our jobs shape our personal identity. Our self-worth is wrapped up in our day-to-day work. Worksome believes in a future where we have a choice. We’re building the first enterprise platform that connects companies with top independent workers all over the world. We eliminate the friction of onboarding, billing, and payment processing so top talent can focus on making the most out of their work no matter where they are. The companies of tomorrow know that finding the right talent who not only have the skills to succeed but the passion to support their missions is critical to their success. Worksome’s easy-to-use software expands access to highly-skilled consultants for businesses who want flexibility without compromising quality. We’re at a pivotal moment in the future of work. Worksome is helping us get there.
