Position Overview:
As a Solutions Architect, you'll play a crucial role in bridging our software development team and our mostly semi-technical eCommerce merchant clients. You'll serve as a "translator," combining the roles of technologist, business analyst, and salesperson. This position requires devising and articulating effective solutions, even in challenging situations where there are no predefined answers. Your ability to communicate between developers and clients will be essential to deliver accurate and implementable solutions to meet our client's business goals.

• Support the sales team by conducting discovery sessions, writing proposals, and estimating efforts for new sales opportunities.
• Lead client interviews and workshops to identify business objectives and document requirements for Magento/Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce projects.
• Identify business process improvements and technology solutions to meet documented requirements.
• Present solutions to clients with confidence and clarity.
• Collaborate with technical leads to estimate project efforts and manage scope within timelines and budget constraints.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA team members to ensure project success.
• Stay updated on eCommerce industry trends, focusing on Magento/Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce ecosystems.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Magento/Adobe Commerce features and distinctions between editions.
• Stay informed about partners, products, and services relevant to client business problems.
• Provide internal feedback to improve methodologies for collecting business requirements.
• Keep all documentation organized and curate/share solutions knowledge within the organization.
• Cultivate professional relationships with key team members.
• Understand Classy Llama's vision, objectives, processes, and team dynamics to facilitate client success.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Software Architect, or similar role.
• Minimum of 10 years combined experience in project delivery, software development, and analysis/configuration/support across business systems.
• Proficiency in Magento/Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of both business and technology principles.
• Technical background and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Magento/Adobe Commerce Certified Solutions Specialist.

• The Solutions Architect reports to the Director of Solutions while being assigned to multiple projects managed by an assigned project manager.
